Hi. What a great site on Castellorizo. Hope
to go to the birthplace of my mother
next year (waiting for wife to retire)! So in about September
2008 we will
explore the island plus Rhodes and Turkey (the ancient Greek
Cities there). Just
cannot wait as two of my children have alreath gone there
and they just loved
Castellorizo.
Do have a look at my genealogy site which has about 11000
people on it with
about 4000 Cassies (or their descendants) represented. It
is a work in progress
so there are omissions and a few mistakes. Some family lines
have not yet been
started and it will take most of 2007 to upload. Most descendants
are in WA.
Submissions always welcomed. If you are related do drop me
a line and I will
open the site fully for you (living info is restricted).
Best wishes and keep up the great work. |

hello
i wish to give my thanks to all the islanders
of kastellorizo
for i have stayed there for 3 weeks during an international
summer camp in july-august 2005, organized by the greek
gov and the megisti municipality
i have enjoyed every day spent there with all the trips,
the theatre and dance shows our teachers have organized
there.
i loved the water, the islanders' hospitality and the whole
atmosphere of well being that filled the air.
i hope someday i shall be able to visit
again the island, small but surprisingly amazing

Your site is great. Thank you so much for
bringing Kastellorizo as
far as Australia and Canada. The island is beautiful, the
people are nice, the
doctor at the clinic is nice. My husband and I loved it there.

Hi Kazi's, just wanted to say that I
went to Kazi in November of 2003 and met some wondeful people.
My family has little record of the decendants and would
appreciate any info anyone is willing to share. I notice
from the genealogy on this web page that there is a Fermanis
listed.. Would love more info.. Thanks xoxo

Hi all! Unfortunately, due to business
affairs, I was unable to travel to Kastellorizo to observe
the solar eclipse phenomenon. However, I have to admit that
the TV coverage from the island was satisfactory. Especially,
when at the peak of the effect, the residents turned their
house lights on. An incident of amazing beauty. Those who
attended the event must have had the time of their lives.
